The Company
This hugely successful client is currently looking to recruit a Marketing Director who has solid understanding of how to manage or improve processes while driving team performance and exceeding challenging targets.
You will be responsible for delivery for all UK marketing campaigns, securing maximum marketing effectiveness in each campaign and optimising marketing to deliver maximum value from the marketing budget.
THE ROLE
· Ensuring that all marketing campaigns are compliant, correct and executed flawlessly
· Establish online channel and build team expertise and effectiveness
· Complete full review of Direct Mail and build a strategy for the channel
· Support new channel development
· Support testing to deliver insight driving the strategic direction for the business model
· Lead the UK marketing team – develop the team to optimum effectiveness and build a highly motivated team with expertise across all channels in the market
· Support other functions and business areas with Marketing input
· Deliver accurate and insightful forecasts
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
· Significant track record of direct marketing experience preferably within the financial services industry
· Proven and demonstrable direct marketing experience, with expertise in outbound Telemarketing, Inbound Telemarketing and online marketing
· Experience in development of marketing strategy
· Experience working effectively within a matrix organization
· Ability to plan effectively and report with accuracy and insight
· Experience leading a marketing team
· Experience working with external vendors
· Motivates teams in high pressure, frequently ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
